Synopsis

6 episodes · ~52 min per episode · German

Simon and Meret Schäfer lead what appears to be an ordinary life in Berlin. In truth, they run a secret safe house for the German intelligence services, their past as undercover agents hidden beneath layers of domestic routine.

Everything unravels when a stranger appears at their daughter Nina's birthday party, bleeding and desperate. A failed operation in Belarus — one that everyone believed was finished sixteen years ago — tears itself back open.

The couple is suddenly hunted by Russian GRU officers, BND agents, contract killers, former lovers, and old enemies. But their greatest threat isn't external: it's the truth they've been keeping from each other.

At the heart of the mystery lies a devastating secret. Nina, their teenage daughter, is actually the biological child of Katya Volkova, a Belarusian woman whose life Simon saved by giving her his blood. He has hidden this from both Meret and Katya for sixteen years.

As alliances shift, loyalties fracture, and the walls of their safe house close in, Simon and Meret must decide what matters more: survival, or honesty.
